Riverwoods
Golden Retrievers are, first and foremost, companion and family dogs. They are
placed in loving homes:
- Homes with infants and children of all ages.
- Homes with competitive obedience and agility training.
- Homes of service and search-and-rescue dogs.
- Homes of upland and waterfowl hunters.
- Homes of amateur and professional handlers with working dogs in AKC and U.K.C/HRC Hunt
Tests.

With careful select breeding Riverwoods Retrievers is producing quality Golden
Retrievers: intelligent, handsome and athletic, eager and willing to please, capable
and confident, with natural talent and classic Golden temperament.

Riverwoods Retrievers Goldens train in the
field for hunting, the AKC and U.K.C./HRC Hunt Test programs,
and working certifications. In the "off
season," they strut their stuff in Obedience Trials. At all times, they are
wonderful family companions. |

Retrievers are at home in Northern Michigan's pine forests by the beautiful AuSable River,
and with the dogwoods and whippoorwills in the rolling hills of Western Kentucky.
